It is a collection of stories written by Mr. Robinson on a variety of subjects. I align with his politics, but if you are a left-winger, you are in for a miserable read. He pulls no punches all the way up to the top.I was very disappointed with the quality of editing. Many misspelled words and flat-out wrong usages. "Assignation" may in another context be an appropriate word when speaking of John Kennedy, but not in the context of his murder. After I started bookmarking and highlighting them, I loged 27 hits

Lovely story with wicked twists, please read it!
Rick Robinson is a rarity. He's a conservative with a brain, a heart and most important, a sense of humor. His regular column in the "Daily Caller" is a treat and his down home style of writing is refreshing in this age of blowhard pundits.
He speaks with clarity about things that resonates in the heartland but many in the Washington DC political industrial complex would find baffling.
This was an easy read that was very thought provoking. I liked Robinson's easy humor and his opinions were in agreement with mine. Practical, amusing and good for conversations or book clubs.
Even though I'm not a politician and really hate politics, I know the author and he IS strange, for sure. LOL.I enjoyed the book and the "insider" perspective but most especially the humor.
Robinson's writing is both witty and pithy. It was good to get the viewpoints on political affairs that did not come from either the coasts or DC. As a resident of Southern Ohio I can relate to the events the rest of the country ignores and career pols fly over. I wish we had more thinkers like him in Washington.
