Amazing story! I would have read this book and loved it anyway but after meeting jack at the museum, i decided to read his book and am amazed at his life story. I only hope i can meet him again to thank him and have some time to sit and talk with him again. Semper Fi
It is an excellent book. I met Frank several years ago at the museum and heard about his duty on Iwo Jima. I will never forget him. I was saddened to learn of his recent passing. Because of him and others like him we have our freedom today. The book tells the life story of a husband, father and patriot that most people of all ages would enjoy.
I loved this book. It was a great depiction of the honor and bravery of this soldier and the adversity and challenges faced by so many young hero's during WWII. I started reading the book and became captivated, reading it from cover to cover on the first setting. Thanks Jack for sharing your story.
